In The Area

The Little Hide is just minutes from the heart of York by car, bus or bike – there is a bus stop at the end of the drive which is hourly Monday to Saturday and 2 hourly on a Sunday.  There is no service on an evening.  This service is run by Reliance Motor Services – 01904 768 262

Alternatively there is the Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride just along the ring road which runs until 8pm.

York Attractions

There is lots to do in York, and a lot of it is free – take a relaxing walk along the Bar Walls, or down by the river Ouse, perhaps while away an hour or two in the Museum Gardens, or just marvel at the amazing architecture in the many old buildings.  No trip to York is complete without a look at the Minster, Clifford’s Tower or participating in a Ghost Walk!  A river cruise is always a nice way to relax, York Boat do day and evening cruises throughout the summer, some involving a pub meal too!

Local Attractions

If you are here with a car, why not take off for the day and try one of the areas day trips?  We recommend the following as well worth the trip…
